You'll see how annoying it is with this post and the quote text button not working...
People don't always use the quote function or address the people they're replying to on phpbb boards, which makes it confusing as to what they're talking about in a thread that's 10 pages long (like what frequently happens on nation state, although that is less likely to happen here).
I don't necessarily want to appear like I want everything to stay the same, but what's the point of change for the sake of change? or if it ain't broken why fix it? The basic format for the sevilian boards I have always prefered to the formats for other boards (I guess that style of having everything on one page is called phpbb), and it has worked reasonably well for the types of discussions that we have. Maybe I prefer it because I'm more used to using it than the format of other boards, or maybe it's because of the reason I cited above (the confusion factor) but that's just the way I and a lot of other sevilians are.
