I have no problems with the way this board works now. It's just that I have no problems with the other board style either and don't really understand some of the reasons why people seem to hate it so much.
And "why change" is a good question actually... I mean, there was a time when most internet message boards looked like this one, but then (almost) everyone switched to the newer style. I thought it was either something that made them easier to manage from a technical point of view or people liked all the spiffy features that became available with the newer style, such as avatars, signatures, personal profiles, private messages etc. (some of which we have here too now). *shrugs*
