you asked if you were going to get a real haircut or a military one
SHE said that you'd get a real haircut and being a military establishment then that's what they can reasonably expect a military haircut to mean. Any lawyer would pounce on this and chew you up with it.
what you failed to do is explain clearly and precisely what your definition of a real haircut was. You should have mentioned that you wanted to keep the bangs, be longer at the sides, keep the bald shaved zig zag stripe down the middle or whatever you wanted and so on. Then she'd be clear on what you expected to get. Only then if you didn't get it can you have reason to complain.
I suggest going to civilian barabers from now on where you'll get a 'real haircut' everytime
Mind you, my hair after its been freshly cut looks distinctly military anyway (according to my wife) so maybe we should just swap barbers??... :P
