Hmmm the lovely Dutch law system. By God, what are these prosecutors thingking!?
Ok here's the case, an 11 year old mentally challenged girl was raped by 4 men for about 5 years, many many many times and anywhere where they could stick it, they did. Also in group and everything. The four men are her father, her brother, and two friends of the father. The mother was out of the picture after a divorce.
Wanna guess what the prosecution is asking the judge to convict them like? I mean just asking, the judge might well give a lighter sentence than this. They're asking 4 years of which 3 on probation and in fact not in jail, so 1 year of jail against the father, and 30 months of which 20 on probation to 10 months in jail against the brother.
So, 12 months of jail for 5 years of gang rape of a 5-6-7-8-9 year old girl, how do you like that?
I hate this country I really do.

I was actually sexually abused for years myself as a child (yeah that's where all my obsessed way of acting about sex is coming from) and you've NO idea how this makes my stomach turn... A lot of the times I think, yeah, I think I'll go and report it to the police, just about the time I've worked up the courage, a case like this comes a long... Which is like, monthly.
