Why must every houslehold service insist on pissing me off? The morons at the electric company don't know how to take money from my account to pay the bill because the screwed up my bank account number and now and much more persistent, the water company shut off my services because, "We're not connected to the utilities services and don't do bank drafts." I could pay the whole amount today and get my water turned back on. All I have to do is run down to the nearest treasurer's office and make the payment in cash, money order, or Master Card. Except my ATM card got lost so I can't withdraw money from my account to do the first two things and my credit card is a Visa. I paid over the phone with my Visa and will have my services turned back on tomorrow, which means that I'll be sponge bathing out of a 20 ounce cup of water I had stashed in the fridge.
