Did you ever consider JUST SHUTTING UP? Really, you don't know what a pronoun is, you think "damn" is the root word of "damnation".... I cannae take it nae more....

#2--Damn IS the root word for several reasons, chief amongst which is that "damn" and "damnation" have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MEANINGS! Therefore, it CAN'T be short for damnation. Also, there are other damn-related words that support "damn" being the root word, thusly: damnability, damnable, damnatory, damnification, damnify, etc. "Damn" is the root word.
