He totally made my day!!!
Man he is sooooo beautiful on ice. It's like he's the personification of agility and grace and art itself. :o
He beat his personal best AND got his olympic gold he so desperately wanted (he only had a silver in his collection). I'm glad for him, finally his dream's coming true.
This new wife of his seems to be doing him a world of good, although his trainer was against him marrying in the olympic season... He had so much problems last two years with his diseases and trauma's and she seems to have picked him up and he's in shape too now (he complains that when he gains weight, he can't jump).
That's really great :)
Too bad the second Russian came like way eleventh or something, doesn't that mean we'll have less starting places next olympics? or does that only count if he comes below 24th position?
Anwyay I'm exhilirated. Plushenko rules! I hope this breaks his run of bad luck and that he has only good luck from now on.
The world championships are coming up. In late March I believe?
