They only make lenses with cilinders up to 2.75 or something like that, beyong that there's little use to make any, because cilinders that strong need to be positioned so accurately that you can't do that with lenses, you'd just see everything mishaped all day after each time you blink or move your head at all.
And the glasses need to be ordered from the factory because they don't make them that strong normally...
Well you know on the other hand, my great-grandma had cilinder strength 20 (!!!), grandma's got 9, I've only got like 4.75 or something - so theoretically, my kids should be okay :)
