They finally fixed the boilers at work.
They broke in autumn. We actually went the entirety of (meteorological winter) without functioning boilers at work. (The email today referred to them merely as having been "faulty" - they were totally broken and turned off.) Very nearly four months relying on portable heaters. And in the gallery, quite often just relying on the heat given off by all the equipment.
So, the heatwave starts tomorrow, right?
(There was actually a day a few weeks back when it got warmer - about 8 above freezing - and since our office has a long wall of south-facing windows, the building warmed up. Of course, the chillers were off because the boilers were off It was 33 degrees in the gallery by the time we went on air, sweat rolling down our backs.)
