It
wouldn't
kill
you
to
talk
to
people
with
more
respect.

Especially since this was *your* fault, you forgot your room key, and then you go and blame the girl who was trying to help you. I hate it when people make a mistake themselves and instead of being polite and respectful and appreciating any help that the other person *tries* to give them (even if it doesn't work), they go and get all arsey. And if I was that girl, you saying "Just have the manager meet me outside my room, please. This just isn't working", no matter how 'politely' you said it, I would have found you rude and ungrateful when I was trying to help you. There are ways you could have said the same thing in a much politer way, as I believe Emma demonstrated.
If you thought about what you said and how you said it a bit more, and its effect on other people, perhaps you'd find your life got a little bit easier.
