I
didn't
feel
like
repeating
myself.

But if I must, I must.

I hate it when people make a mistake themselves and instead of being polite and respectful and appreciating any help that the other person *tries* to give them (even if it doesn't work), they go and get all arsey.
|
I was polite and respectful to the lady that was helping me out. And I wasn't an ass to anyone but the buttinski, who I don't think counts since he didn't help things any. But that's just my personal opinion.
|
There are ways you could have said the same thing in a much politer way, as I believe Emma demonstrated.
|
Politeness is in the eye of the beholder. I knew what was wrong and I knew what needed to happen to fix it, and I was taking the shortest, most time-efficient route to get there. That screams politenenss to me, especially since I was nice to her (and entertained her options, though I knew they weren't going to lead anywhere), since I knew perfectly well that the situation was my fault.
