the broadband package is a shambles - flatrate yes BUT 5gig a month download limit? id use that in 2 weeks probably... and after that the extra charges are madness
flatrate is fairly recent here - the european court forced Eircom to introduce flatrate - problem is they still have 99% of the market here cos until 2 yrs ago or so no one else could operate here
and they werent happy having to flatrate instead of pay by minute - they also had to open up the market to competitors but they still own the market it seems.
we got our last phone bill - net access came to 99 euro - we get it flatrate for 29.99 a month (or is it 39.99..) for up to 150 hrs.
i noticed i had used 74 hrs that month so we called to find out why. they tried to tell us it is because we dont use broadband (bull - we get dialup flatrate) then they saidwe dial the wrong number (also bull cos they gave us the number) and then they said we used too the net too much (bull - see above)... eventually they admitted this had happened to others and they would fix it
i hold little confidence in them. wonder if they screwed up the network over xmas somehow... seems a lot better today....
