She probably is jealous in a way. I would assume that her behavio(u)r is a subliminal way of impugning him with a sense of guilt for being the actual cause of it (her behavio(u)r). And that if he quits spending time with you that things will go back to normal; she's out of her comfort zone, in a manner of speaking. Bottom line, she's just going to have to get used to the idea that her son is a grown man, and he's eventually going to spend less time around his mother.
I'm assuming that you haven't been seeing each other for a long time?
As far as the advice thing goes, I second what others say that you're doing fine as you are. I hope things work out for the better.
