Alot of people out there know jack-squat about anything these days. Most of the time when I'm looking for something I have to deal with people and systems that are so stupid it's impossible to find what you're looking for. Like when you go into a store and ask a question about a product - any product - all they can do is stare at the product, flip it over a few times, try half-heartedly to open the package, and then dare say that if you want to know something about the item, you could look it up on the internet.
However... there are usually 1 or 2 people that walk around like they're bored and just wasting time in the place that do know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING in that store. And those are the folks you need to pick out and talk to. I always do. They're the kind that have spent years in that store and know everything there is to know about the products. They're usually tailed - from a distance - by one or two nerdy newbies that know nothing about the products at all but are hired to advise clients ;)
