I never got the full story on the house, so I don't know if it was near foreclosure or anything, I just know I got a very sweet deal.

Take a good look around. Is there a big, red stain in the middle of the lounge room floor that won't go away, and strange holes in the walls? (c:
They're putting up our rent because they can - we can object, but they'll evict us and find someone else willing to pay what they want. There's a shortage of rental properties here in Sydney. Renting sucks - but still, it beats paying $800 per week on a mortgage, I guess.
