...I can understand you'd think "eh, thanks, but I don't think I'll install ad-block".
However, for once, mr. Dense is right. Ad-block is a great add-on. My experience is that it has caused problems for me only on one site, and that was because they used a stupid name for an iframe. It had the name "adverts" while there were no advertisements in them.
On all other sites.. my god.. what a relief. All those flash and java things bouncing around the place - those annoying popups windows that appear in front of the webpage, making you have to look for the "close" button and click it in order to just frickin see the page you're trying to see... they disappear. Ad-block makes it disappear. And when something gets through ad-block's filters... just click on it and select "ad-block object/image" and.. voila. It's gone!
I cannot live without ad-block anymore.
