See, I think my problem was...
Rose. I was used to the relationship between Rose and 9, which was really intense. Rose and 10 were more laid-back. There was only one two-parter where the relationship felt anywhere close to what Rose and 9 had. It was "The Impossible Planet" and the follow-up episode.

I guess Eccleston just left an imprint on me. I think I might like 10 more with a new companion...
