Last night was Australia Day and so my daughter Natasha and Daniel the B/f (of 3 years) booked a room at the Sheraton hotel in central Perth (executive floor no less so pretty flash room etc!)
Supposedly they were there to watch the mega-fireworks display on the swan river celebrating Oz Day as beiong on the 23rd floor they had a great view - but Daniel had other plans!
Apparently he'd gotten moet chandon champayne ordered up while natasha was in the shower, hid it in the room and during the 'grand finale' of the fireworks popped the question on her!!!!
Absolutely rocked Natasha to her socks she says but with all the fireworks going off how could a girl say no...? :+P
So that's the huge mega-news from my end of the world this weekend.... got an egagement party to organise now for starters at least in the next week or two.
Anyone out there got any sage advice about organising weddings...?
*looks at Muffy and the other girls significantly*
