I mean honestly. Next time you're in a situation like this, try acting like you're not 100% in the right and that everyone else is just being a jerk. Maybe they are, but the attitude you seem to meet these situations with only exascerbates them.

Instead of "I know, and I thanked her for it." try "yes, and it's much appreciated, but unfortunately it didn't work."
Saying "I know" sounds arrogant.

Instead of "Name one that I've made." which is confrontational, try "I didn't mean to demand anything, I was simply making a request."

"No, I said, 'Just have the manager meet me outside my room, please.' That's not a demand."
Yes it is. I don't care if you've tacked "please" on the end, the rest of that setence is a demand. "could/would it be possible for the manager to meet me outside my room please?" would be a request. And again, your tone is confrontational.

"I'm suppose to have my wallet on me at all times, too."
Yes, smart alec responses are definitely the way to go when you're in an argument with a superior who has something you need. Perhaps next time try "my ID's in my wallet, along with my keycard."
