Manchester is slight Manchester is slightly clsoer, but only by about 45 miles. In this particular case, Manchester is cheaper and it has nonstop service. However, don't assume that clsoer always means cheaper. The number of airlines and level of competition have much to do with the fare levels. A flight from a smaller city can cost more than a flight from a larger city that's actually farther away.
