Althought there are origin beliefs other then found in Christianity, Judism and Islam, those are not taught in Creatinism.
Furthermore, the line was scrapped not because of acknowledgement, but because of the false arguments in it against evolution.
Yes, evolution is a theory, but so is the theory of special relativity. Creationism has absolutely no scientific basis.
I recently saw a BBC program, in which a Creationist was confronted. These men and women actually belief EVERYTHING (and really EVERYTHING) in the Bible has happened and is true. So according to them the world is only about 5000 years old, is flat, and Dinosaurs live together with mankind.
