we have to make do with what was originally a store/resource room that been converted into our office.
In that we get a basic rectangular room, with a fixed bench 'desk' along the long side, separated by a drawer unit each to denote our 'desk space'. Above each of us is a double row of shelves and we each get about a 1.5m width of those for our files. In that roughly 1.5m space we have to fit all our files, texts in the shelves, and then assorted junk in the drawer units
The shorter sides are dominated by a floor to ceiling bookshelf with dept. textbooks and assorted junk at one end, and a black stationary cupboard and other junk at the other.
We also squeeze in a bar fridge, a microwave, and 2 desktop computers and a gigantic colour laser printer, plus of course the 5 of us. All of this in a room about 6m long and 3m wide.
I colour stuff...
