We're all in a row with a tiny "divider" that only comes up to our elbows, really, and no space to put anything personal, and you can't anyway because you're on air when the live shots are in the newsroom... There's always noise from people having meetings or talking about rundowns, and there's always people running around with cameras, and while you can sort of make out windows in the anchors' windows from your perch, usually you're in the dark with BRIGHT lights in your face screwing with your vision. Ugh. So, I feel for you. I remember that world... Was so glad to get outta there!
New office is a DREAM. I've kinda had some good conversations and breakthroughs with my boss as of late about a lot of things (finding out she doesn't drop in to see me because she's confident in my abilities was a pleasant surprise) and so I'm THRILLED at this latest development. :D
