Yes... low power mode. A PDA for some reason chews up a bit more power than a non PDA. So in an attempt to keep things on par with, and also keep the costs down, other phones and Windows Mobile 5 or 6 phone doesn't have an active connection to the 3G or Whatever network you're on. SMS sending and receiving is instant but MMS on a Windows 3G Phone uses an active network connection, ie Internet. Now most people can resolve this by hacking the registry so the phone is always on 3G and you can set you MMS to auto send and receive. Problem with this is if you don't have a data account you get charged for being on the net. Easiest and most cost effective solution is to adjust your messagin platform profile at your providers end and have it use SMS Push to deliver the MMS.
