Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" series on DVD
This series is basically what got me into my love of astronomy and taught me vast amounts of what I know. I've also read all his books as well! I've been wishing for the past decade or so that someone in TV would repeat the series but to no avail - now it doesn't matter anyway.. :) I can remember learning so much off this series that when we studied astronomy in science class in year 10 (15 years old) *I* was telling the teacher stuff! (yes I got 100% for this bit of the course)
anyway... happy days of watching for me! I've already cleaned off the first two episodes before lunch! :P
