You see a Redundancy means that they have effectively said that the position is completely unnecessary to their operations, but of course it is, but being a redundancy they can't employ anyone new in the job without giving Natasha first bite at it. Which they won't want to do of course.
Interesting. I sat on a Federal Jury for just such a case. Concerned a Regional Airport manager who had to be "let go" at the behest of a city council. The job was subsequently given to a buddy of some of the Airport's board members. And the previous manager was not contacted.
These dorks didn't even have 1 single piece of paper to back up their contention that the City Council had ordered the position eliminated.
We awarded her 5 years pay and $86,000 punitive damages. She would have got the whole amount she was suing for, had she applied for the job when she heard about it, instead of blowing it off.
This situation sounds just as blatent.
