it's tax time here in Oz and the wicked witch is sending her flying monkeys around to make us all cough up some pennies...
So we got a quantity surveyor to value both our properties as we can get a tax break by doing so (up to $2500!) and he came up with a figure of $940 000+ for both houses.
Now add that to the money we have in the bank just sitting there twiddling it's thumbs (yep time to buy another investment house I think..) along with the value of contents etc etc. and I've cracked the $1000 000 mark!!!!
Of course I have liabilities of a couple of hundred thousand plus on the mortgage for the investment home I own, so if I liquified all assets tomorrow I wouldn't be as the bank would take a chunk back, but it's a nice feeeling just now anyway!!! :D
