I'll be going to a friend's house for their traditional Christmas Eve gathering. I've been going there ever since I stood in their wedding.
Except last year, as they lost it all in Katrina. But the house is now fixed and the tradition continues. I imagine it will be a great time.
Then I'll be going from there to another party that I'd already committed to go to before I found out that the above party was back on.
Then home, sleep late, make some long distance calls to those that aren't in the area, make some visits, exchange some gifts (very few this year, many people have still not returned, maybe never).
Then it's back to work for me on Tuesday.
Here's hoping next year is a bit better, this one has been really trying.
