#1. (And this is a big one) I haven't lost any money to these people, and no law enforcement agency will investigate until I do. Minimum amount to lose before that happens? $25,000 USD.
#2. Before I take any action, I need to hear from them who they are, just so I can confirm my suspicions. Once I get the caller's name and rganization, I'll tell them to put me on their do not call list. If, and only if, they call me again after that, will I take any action. My plan is to make a post over at the Rip-Off Report website and contacting the Office of Consumer affairs with the informaiton the telemarketer gave me.
After that, we'll see what happens. Already checked my bank statement--nothing abnomal, so I know they haven't successfully tried to charge me for promotions. Still, this should prove to be quite amusing. I love a good fight. I hope they give me one. I'm antsy.
