... there are some scientists who say, it was a meteor (and it might not necassarily have been the one in the gulf of mexico, there are many meteor crater candidates), and a smaller group who point out that it might not have been a meteor, but like I said before, a massive volcanic eruption (I forget where this group of scientists say the supposed volcano is)
