Okay now that I have your attention, can I ask a question? How come bill and Iris were the only ones to respond to my post here? I'm not upset, just a little disapointed since it kinda makes it seem like people don't care about me, and I know more than two of you do. (or at least I *think* more than two of you do...) ;-)
The recent events that I was talking about there were a very, very, big deal up here and some people were killed. Remember when Katrina hit? Remember how people were concerned about Bill and TLE being ok? Ok this wasn't big enough to make international news, I'm sure of that, but I do know for a fact that it made national news. Couldn't some of the American sevilians who might have seen the reports on TV gone, gee upstate new york is getting hit with record level flooding, maybe Jeremy has been affected by this?
I wasn't hoping for a lot, but a few more responses along the lines of "gee that sucks, but I'm glad your ok" would have been nice. (and I will accept that some of my more glib captions might have made some people not realize the severity of the situation)
