The highlight of mol
The highlight of molude 10 for me first off is migraine headaches. As long as I canremember my Mom would get migraine headaches. She would have throbbingpain on one side of the head, be sensitive to light, noise, and have episodes vomiting.During the time when she has a migaine headache she would lie down in a darkquiet bedroom.Migraine headaches affect more people than diabetes, epilepsy, and asthmacombined. About 10% of people who have migraines also experience aurasymptoms. These are disturbances that start 15 minutess to an hour before theheadache. They can include blind spots, flashing lights, zigzag patterns, tingling, pins and needles, or numbness in the limbs. I don't know if my Momever experience any aura symptoms or not. There are two types of migraines Iwould like to write about. Abdominal migraines and hormonal migranes.Abdominal migraines often occur in children. They cause recurrent attacs ofabdominal pain lasting for sevral hours. When the child reaches adolescense, this often changes to the more common migraine pattern. In hormonal migraines, migraines in women are often linked to hormone change. True menstrualmigraines occur within two days either before or after the first day of a monthlyperiod and at no other time. There are other rare forms of migraines, some linkedto genetic defects.Another interesting thing for me in molude 10 is about hydrocephalus.Hydrocephalus is a build-up of fluid on the brain. The excess fluid putspressure on the brain, which can cause it to be damaged. The damage to the braincan result in a wide range of symptoms including headache, being sick, blurredvision, and difficulty walking. There are three main types of hydrocephalus. They are congenital hydrocephalus, aquired hydrocephalus, and normalpressure hydrocephalus or NPH.There was one more thing I found interesting in moule 10 and that wouldbe about Bell's palsy. Bell's palsy is a condition that causes temporary weaknessor paralysis of the muscle in one side of the face. It is thye most common causeof facial paralysis. The symptoms of Bell's palsy vary from person to person. The weakness on one side of the face can be described as either, partial palsy, which is mild muscle weakness, or complete palsy, which is no movement at all(paralysis). In rare cases, complete or partial palsy can affect both sides of aperson's face. The muscle weakness or paralysis of Bell's palsy can affect theeyelid, making it difficult to close or open the eye. The exact cause of Bell's palsyis unknown, but many researchers believe that the herpes virus is responsible.
