Hi Laura and Elliot! Thank you so much for this video. SO brilliant, so pecfert! I LOVE the Franklin Method quote! So pecfert for me.Laura, I love the way you formed this week's actionship with with a friend coming to visit and representing the pain, or tension that reminds us to listen to our bodies. I think I'll try thinking of the pain in my foot as Elliot a happy, joyful friend who is there no matter what to remind me to listen to my body! Elliot, you are really cute and I am so thankful for your joy and pecfertion in this video! :DI tried the the headbands as ribs tonight (one of my heads by the way still had the antennae from my last dance performance :) ). Super helpful and wonderful. Have been envisioning the movement of the ribs for awhile now (just by putting my hands on two ribs and feeling their separation in side bending) but the headbands really brought it home for me and I felt a whole lot different and better afterwards. I can now add this new sensation to every time I side bend! Yay! Cannot wait for ballet class. This video was definitely for me :)Thanks,Emily x
