Actually, it's nothing to do with the President, eihter Bush or Obama. The system that allowed this to happen predates both of them. It's a flaw in US intelligence infrastructure that dates back to the cold war.The President is a civilian, he has very little day to day involvement with the intelligence community. They get on with things on their own and report back to him what they think that he needs to know.Neither Obama nor Bush allowed a low level intelligence analyst such high level access to sensitive material, nor did they fail to install anti-copying software on his computer. Nor did they fail to stop him from removing the copied material from a secured location. The intelligence community maintains its own house and this is their failing, not the Presidents. The most that a president does is to tell the intelligence community to be secure, it's up to them how they do it. -2Was this answer helpful?
