Well... previously posted: still so afraid of hurting my ring! If it's a diamond ring, as I suspect, remember that nothing short of a laser or another diamond can hurt the stone. You may still worry about it coming out of the setting (if it's a decent jeweler, I doubt it) or the band getting scratched, but chances of that are minimal. There's a little joke I heard...
