Another important thing is to look at how the buesniss is going to use the domain. For example .com is great but its not regional which in many cases having a .co.uk or a .fr for example for France can pinpoint the buesniss better for people depending on what they are doing. E.g. a baker in the UK would probably be better off with a .co.uk because his client base are likely to only be in the UK.
