Sad to hear Soames passed away. I was in Nogaro in 1996 at the bengining of my professional carreer as a photographer. I saw the accident happening and I can still hear the noise of the car hitting the concrete wall. A very grim moment that crossed my eye and my lens.The pictures I took of the accident got lost over the years. This accident made me realise how cruel our much loved sport can be.My condolences to the family
