*Laughs* The estimate for me (a few years ago) for contacts was £300 for the initial fitting, £90 for each replacement lens (and at this point my prescription was being renewed every 6 months.) So that's $540 and $160 respectively. I stuck with glasses ;0) I like glasses anyway. I've worn them since I was 4, it would be too weird not to.
