I am glad you raised this qioutsen Jamie! You are correct that word by word it is two hundred + five. However, it is common to simplify two hundred fifty (两百五å. å is ten) to two hundred five(两百五). Sort of like in English, when you say two fifty, we know it's two (hundred) fifty.两百零五 is two hundred and five. é›¶ means 0.
