Now that I've watched the socend part of the review, here are some thoughts: Re: Anthony Cooper. What I want to know is this: Was Locke's dad in the process of conning him at the time of the accident? I don't think I'm going to get that answer, but it would be interesting to know. Re: Timeline Resolution. The dilemma of the two timelines is that there exists in each timeline a separate child (Jack's child in the alternate, Desmond's in the original). Now before you dismiss this as being trivial, I don't think it is. If one of the timelines wins out over the other, that means that Lost is effectively snuffing out the life of a child. Shows just don't do that. I think that points to the fact that in the end, there will still be two timelines (and possibly many, many more). At the heart of the show is this question of the nature of reality and if alternate/parallel universes exist. It seems likely that Lost is going to answer that question with a Yes. And those who survive in the end are going to know the truth of the separate realities (unlike the rest of us, who only know the here and now as being the totality of existence). Let me ask you guys, did it seem to you that Bernard understood everything as he met with Jack? There seemed to be a purpose in his actions, a deeper understanding to his words. Was that just me?
