AVG is anti _virus_ not anti adware/malware/spyware. Description: SpySheriff is a fake Spyware removal program. It is usually bundled with other malware. SpySheriff pops warnings advertising itself, displaying a list of 17 spyware "found". This application is usually delivered bundled with lots of other malware. so, if you install AVG it ofcourse won't detect spysheriff, it was never intended to find those programs. However, Microsoft Antispyware will protect against the installation of spysheriff's stupid shit programs.
