If you're generally happy with Vista and don't need any of the new feeatrus Windows 7 provides, you can just stick with Vista.Personally, I was fine with Vista too and didn't run into any of the problems many people complained about, but since I like new technology, I upgraded to Win7 via the student offer. I have to say I really do like Win7 though I have run into some bugs such as lots of not responding messages that make the app seem like it's having a seizure, etc. The new taskbar takes some getting used to, too, but it's pretty handy after you do.
