Try replacing the [ (bracket characters) with * (wildcard)
Unfortunately, with computers, characters sometimes display the "closest" character available for a particular machine language encoding.
Since the filters work under "literal" interpretation, and "none" is obviously a word, then the problem points to the special character, which in machine language may or may not be a bracket.
I use filters in Yahoo a lot. None contain special characters, and all of them work.
This problem actually goes all the way back to punch cards, but I've neither the time or space to explain it further.
