On the 21st of September 2002, my parents drove me and Miguel to Milton Keynes to meet a load of Sevilians who hopefully would not axe-murder us. Amongst them was Guido, whom I was meeting for the first time.
On the 21st of September 2013, Guido and I were approved in principle for a mortgage.
If you'd told us that in 2002, I don't think we'd have believed you.
On the other hand, 11 years is a pretty impressively long time to have known each other in person.
