Aphrodite IX pencils = David Finch inks = Joe Weems It's been exactly a year since I did a David Finch piece (not counting a one-off paying commission). This is because a year ago I decided that I was doing too many of them, and while becoming familiar and easy to colour with all that practise, it was limiting my range on a variety of other lineart. So I gave him up for a year! But now I'm free to do DF lineart again! - yay! It was interesting to see how this one came together so easily and that the familiarity hadn't gone away in that time. This one just fell into place without any hassle at all. I have also coloured this one before. I last coloured this in 2003 when I was a LOT newer to this colouring business than I am now....! For those who have missed it, here it is in all it's crappy awefullness... ye gods... Hopefully these new colours are a bit better... :) cheers Sean I colour stuff...
