I spent the first half of the day at the ER with my mother. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. She's out, but on some potentially addictive medication that I'm not really happy about. I stayed with her until she fell asleep around 9PM. I'm terrified she'll be either addicted to her meds or back in the hospital again soon based on her level of stress and heart defect. So, please continue to pray there.
Grandmother is getting a pacemaker, her first surgery in her 81 years of life! So, praying that goes well since we have NO IDEA how her body will respond to surgery (if her body will accept the pacemaker, if she will heal quickly, etc) especially after her stroke.
I'm now praying for a quiet rest of the week and no more hospital visits... OY.
