surgery

Maybe Monday, but NOT today. Went to see the surgeon, and after 45 minutes of waiting the guy came in. He was QUITE jovial and I adored his personality. He checked me out and basically told me he's not sure what I have is a full-blown abscess yet. It could just be a cyst caused by a sweat-gland blockage. He said he COULD lance it, but since it's hard without a squishy center, he's not likely to get any pus out and thus it wouldn't help anything...
So, I'm back on pain meds and antibiotics until Monday at which point we have a followup to see if he was wrong. However, I hope he was right as I am eager to be over this and NOT have to be cut open and then recover from THAT. YAY!! :)
