I wanted to major in Science. Then actually majored in English. Then switched to Communications with a Mass Media Emphasis. I work for an international nonprofit as the Interactive Media Project Manager, managing our social media networks and the web team, as well as media projects requiring coordination between various teams in the Interactive Media department.
So, yeah, I did get a job in my field. But, my dream job would be writing or performing. So, I do that on the side. Just finished my first OFFICIAL draft (first draft needed a LOT of work before I'd show it to anyone) of my 90,000+ word novel. It's with my Betas who will tell me what works and doesn't. And, last night I auditioned for a local musical. Waiting to hear if I made callbacks. :P
So, yeah. :P
