I have a lovely Bachelor of Arts degree - with Honours...so I guess that qualifies me to work at McDonalds? (c:
Seriously - full respect to Arts students out there. If it wasn't for us, the world would be full of accountants. And that would be most lame.
For the past five years, I've been working as a Retail Copywriter for an online store here in Australia. Just the other day, I applied for an internship in the book publishing industry. If I get it, I'll be the oldest intern ever. I'm 31. And I'll also be utterly broke, as the job pays intern wages. Eep.
Frankly, I still don't know what I want to actually do with my life, job-wise. I'd love to go back and do some more study, though. Unfortunately...I'm *still* paying off the first course. Double eep.
I'd also like to do some kind of graphic design course at TAFE or something...because I know nothing about graphic design, and all the Gen Y job hunters out there have been Photoshopping pictures of their cat since age five...
