I'd like to tackle this first, because this is by far the most (scientifically) ignorant thing i've ever heard you say... Firstly, it's not by any stretch of the imagination a "phenomenon", it makes perfect sense, you fucks loads of CO2 into the atmosphere, it heats up. Simple. Second, how do you figure it's "yet to be proven to exist"? The science is solid. And the majority of the scientific community agrees. You can find fringe "scientists" that believe anything...that doesn't make then right, merely crazy...

This is my main problem with people up in arms about Obama being given the prize, under normal circumstances, they don't give a flying crap... FYI Gore wasn't announced the winner in 2008, nor was he ever, actually. Because in 2007, Gore shared the prize, WITH THE UN! Because normally, people haven't even freaking heard of the winners, so when by chance the read the name in a news report, they go merrily on their way, because they have no personal opinion of that person...
